Cyrus Newitt has been an actor, director, and designer for over forty years. Recent onstage appearances include George Hay in Moon Over Buffalo for Cape May Stage in New Jersey, Black Tie and Heroes for the Hampton Theater Company on Eastern Long Island, and Sylvia, Quartet and Proof for the Small Town Theater in Armonk, NY. He played the role of the General in the world premiere of Passchendaele by John Rafter Lee, directed by Jonathan Winn for the New York International Fringe Festival. Over the years he has been seen and heard in numerous films, TV shows and commercials, and has directed and designed for many Equity theaters in New York City, Connecticut, and New Jersey. Cyrus is an area resident and is delighted to make his debut with Thrown Stone.
