Jack Karp (he/him, San Francisco, CA) has had plays produced in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and across the country. Incendiary Agents was produced at the New Ohio Theatre in New York City in 2013 and the Morgan Opera House in 2018. Irreversible, which was developed at the Great Plains Theatre Conference and the Ashland New Plays Festival, was produced by Red Fern Theatre in New York in 2015 and Counterweight Theatre Lab in Colorado in 2018. His plays have also appeared in the Pittsburgh New Works Festival, the Samuel French Off-Off-Broadway Short Play Festival, and the New York International Fringe Festival. Jack has also won the David Mamet Playwrighting Competition at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, the Mario Fratti-Fred Newman Political Playwriting Contest, Best Play at MadLab Theatre’s Divide & Conquer Festival, and the Gloria Ann Barnell Peter Playwright Competition, among other awards.
