Karina Cochran

Karina Cochran is a tall glass of water from the midwest. She recently received her MFA in Dramatic Writing at Carnegie Mellon University, studying under Rob Handel.  She holds a BA from Bennington College, studying under Sherry Kramer.

Her plays have been read and performed in various venues across the United States. She has participated in Atlanta’s Horizon Theatre New Playwrights Festival, New York’s Sanguine Theatre Playwrights Festival, the Activate Midwest Theatre Festival, and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

When not writing plays, Karina enjoys making pies, teaching yoga, and singing bluegrass.
