Jiahao(Neil) Qiu 邱嘉皓 is a theatre collaborator and lighting designer. He was born in China and moved to Canada when he was thirteen. Being a child without parents in a foreign country created huge identity problems for him, and immediately he was attracted to old movies. He used to study film study and the first time he walked into the theatre during his undergraduate, he believed that theatre magic would be his safe place. As theatre became his profession, he now believes theatre is his salvation. He holds an M.F.A in Design from the School of Drama at Yale.
