Rich Vazzana has held multiple positions in a series of careers. After graduating from college as a Mathematics major, Rich taught school at both the secondary and college level. While working on his PhD, he joined IBM in the sales division and held a 30-year career in various sales executive positions. The latest was starting a new business in Customer Relationship Management Outsourcing that grew to a $2.5 Billion business in two years. Rich retired from IBM and was named Executive VP Inside Sales and Sales Operations, reporting to the CEO of Novell. While at Novell, Rich built and managed the worldwide Tele-Web sales organization that achieved $900m per year in revenue and managed the sales operations for Novell WW. He has established the organization, marketing planning, and execution for Fall for Ridgefield and Taste of Ridgefield. BOD of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, The Annual Antique Fair at the Ridgefield Community Center, Marketing for Keeler Tavern Museum. He was Vice Chair of the Ridgefield Charter Revision Commission. He is Past President of Rotary Club of Ridgefield, Lounsbury House, Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra and Assistant District Governor Rotary Southern CT. He was selected Ridgefield Citizen of the Year for 2018
