Talia Hankin

Talia is an actor, director, and playwright with a particular passion for new works. She is a John Jay Arts and Humanities Scholar at Columbia University, where she is pursuing a dual BA in Drama & Theatre Arts (Acting Concentration) and Film & Media Studies. Most recently, she acted in the world premiere of Fiona Gorry-Hines’ You Can’t Touch My Sister I Ate In the Womb  at the Columbia School of the Arts. She will be completing her Senior Thesis in Acting at Columbia University in Fall 2021 in Lynn Nottage’s By the Way, Meet Vera Stark. As a Theatre artist, Talia has worked with Shakespeare on the Sound, InTandem Lab, New Paradigm Theatre Company, Columbia University, and Barnard College. Film: Tricoastal Productions, Delta Kappa Alpha Professional Cinematic Society, Barnard College. Talia has received local and national accolades for her original play, 27 Days, with staged readings at New Paradigm Theatre Company and Columbia University.
