Leovina Charles is a New York based actress, singer, dancer, and model. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she discovered her love for acting at a young age, making her professional theatre debut as Young Nala in The Lion King on Broadway. She holds an MFA in Acting from University of California, San Diego, and a BFA in Musical Theatre from Howard University. The proud daughter of two Haitian immigrants, Leovina has a passion for stepping into the shoes of those whose stories often go untold and is committed to continuing to tell stories that hold a mirror up to the world around her: in all its mess, all its beauty, and all its truth.
