Ross Dunsmore

Ross is from Glasgow. Initially training at RADA as an actor he has since worked extensively in film, television and theatre. This has included spells with the National Theatre of Scotland, the Tron, TAG, Borderline, the Young Vic, the Bush, Theatre Clwyd, Leicester Haymarket, the Finborough Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre.

As a writer he took an MA in screenwriting at Royal Holloway, University of London, before spending a year studying playwriting with John Burgess, former Head of New Writing at the National Theatre.

In 2015 he was chosen as one of the four winners of the Scotland Short Play Award.

His first full length play, Milk, was commissioned by the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh. Thrown Stone will present the U.S. premiere.
