Tiffany Johnson

A Visual Artist and Social Justice advocate, Tiffany is aware of the environments and times we as a collective are living through. Passionate about Black history narratives and voices of multicultural backgrounds, she has a keen eye for bringing perspectives to light. She resides in the Greater Danbury Area with her family and has taught at Southern Connecticut State University, Westchester Community College, and currently at Sacred Heart University. With a long exhibition of works from her past artist in residency experiences, Tiffany creates paintings and drawings that are landscape, metaphysical, and from memory. In 2020 at the peak of the Covid pandemic, Tiffany was selected by the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut to host workshops with Lisa Scails in Walk in Their Shoes in the aftermath of the George Floyd tragedy and other race altercations that year.
