July 20: TownVibe’s Cocktails with the Cast

Mark your calendars!

July 20th is a big day in Ridgefield, and we’re celebrating with TownVibe’s Cocktails with the Cast, sponsored by The Village Tavern and The Audubon Society of Connecticut, and featuring original music by Broadway’s Kevin Mambo (Fela!, The Color Purple, The Book of Mormon).

The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce kicks off with the first session of Summerfest from 10am – 2pm, followed by a 4pm matinee of Cry It Out. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the second, grownup session of Summerfest (open until 7:30 pm) — and get dinner with friends — before the 8pm performance of Birds of North America.

Immediately following Birds (around 10pm), walk down Main Street to the Village Tavern for TownVibe’s Cocktails with the Cast. A late-night buffet and passed hors d’oeuvres will be served by The Tavern’s talented crew, and the full bar is generously sponsored by The Connecticut Audubon Society. Mingle with the casts of both shows and toast the end of a classic midsummer day in Ridgefield.

A few select auction items will be available for bid to support Thrown Stone’s mission of engaging our region with new and reimagined theatre.
